What an incredible year we have had here at the Murphy Gozzard Hair Community. It’s been full of exciting projects, personal wins for the team and so much magic created right here in the salon for our beloved clients. As the best salon Paddington, we strive to be the best we can be each and every day, and thought it would be a great time to reflect on our achievements over the past year. It’s been a busy one, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Here, the best hairdressers Sydney look back over just a few of our highlights;
We were named Gritty Pretty Tried, Trusted and Approved and now proudly sit in their online Little Black Book as one of the best salons in Sydney. We have looked after plenty of VIP media in our time but it is always so lovely to be recognised by the experts.
We continued to work with the amazing Dresscode Project - A global alliance of salons and barbershops committed to providing positive, gender-affirming services for LGBTQ2S+ clients. We are so proud to be one of Australia’s representatives of the Gender Free Haircut Club.
We created stunning red carpet and editorial looks for gorgeous clients including Kate Peck, Megan Hajjar, Jack Vidgen and Phebe Starr.
We gave back to the community by helping out with wonderful organisations including Youth Off the Streets and Homeless Connect. Having worked with these charities for several years we can safely say nothing is as rewarding as using our artisan skills to help brighten the lives of so many Sydneysiders doing it tough.
Clare and Tamara were named as winners of places in the illustrious La Biosthetique Future Lab, learning from some of the industry’s most talented hairdressers. Plus, we soaked up all the La Biosthetique colour training possible to ensure we are bringing you the most natural and rich colours possible. Not to mention so much fun working with them on their end of year celebration La Soiree.
What a year!
