A Kevin.Murphy Brand Ambassador and Session Salon Key Educator, Brett is a highly regarded creative whose role in educating the Australian hairdressing community cannot be overstated.

A NSW Hairdresser of the Year Australian Hair Fashion Awards finalist, his honours reflect his creative vision and technical prowess.

Greatly respected by his peers, with a firm finger on the pulse of trend forecasting, Brett is regularly called on for new product research and development and for sharing new trends and techniques. He is also responsible for the technical training of the Murphy Gozzard team and maintains a large and loyal clientele.

Brett McKinnon

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

With more than 35 years in hairdressing as a stylist, educator, business development manager and salon owner, Brett’s passion lies in creating the ultimate salon experience for clients and team alike.

In the salon, Brett oversees the day-to-day running of the business, including client relations, brand and team development and supplier liaisons.

Brett’s kind and generous nature has been reflected throughout his career, including his previous appointment as F.A.M.E. Team Australia Creative Director. His philanthropic spirit also extends beyond the salon, with his involvement in hairdressing for the homeless in support of Roughthreads and raising significant funds for HAGAR.
